Bible scholar Bachmann is murdered in front of his daughter Johanna. Together with his assistant Simon, a French religious scholar, the young policewoman sets out to find her father's murderer. In the process, they stumble upon the trail of the mysterious Bible code, which is said to be able to prophesy the future of mankind.
