Elena Tarasova is a young, modern woman who works as a cab driver. She is lonely, disappointed in men, but has a close friend, a car racer, to whom she flies to different cities for dates. Once, after the refusal of the head of the taxi park to give her another vacation at her own expense, Lena decides to deceive him and asks a sailor she met on the street to introduce himself as her fiancé.
