Secret ops assassin Captain Willard is sent on a mission up a river during the Vietnam War to "terminate with extreme prejudice" the errant Colonel Kurtz. In addition to being re-edited with the new footage, the film has been completely restored, converted to digital, and reprinted by dye-transfer, improving color reproduction.
