Considered one an emerging actress, Rekhitha aka Bhama made her debut in 2007 through Nivedyam directed by Lohithada. Matrimonial programme on television titled Thaali was one of her debuts in media industry. Lohithadas spotted her in the programme and cast her in Nivedyam (2007).
