Biography:

Jordan Chantha Weir is an accomplished actress, writer, producer, and filmmaker. She earned her credentials from the rigorous two-year acting program at the Tom Todoroff Conservatory in New York City. She then went on to attain her B.A. in Media Arts at the University of North Texas, where she graduated summa cum laude. Weir has successfully written, produced, and starred in the sci-fi short film Recyclos (2024), which deals with themes of existentialism, nature, and robots. In addition to her own projects, Weir has showcased her acting abilities in various productions, including the University of Texas at Arlington MFA short film Bright Eyes and Steady Hands (2024), as well as taking on the role of multiple characters in the short film Good Morning Jack, part of the Advanced Film course at the University of North Texas. Weir's contributions to the film industry extend beyond performance; she has also excelled in behind-the-scenes roles. Her involvement as assistant director in the award-nominated short film Sour (2023), her work as production designer on the feature film American Street (2024), and her roles as production designer, hair & makeup, and first assistant director on the short films Apostle of Sorrow (2024) and Remains (2024) highlight her versatility and dedication to the craft.
