Biography:

Born in Beirut, Lebanon, to a Sudanese father and a Sri Lankan mother in 1992, Ibrahim Mohamed is currently based in Kenya. He is a talented Sudanese Director and cinematographer with over 8 years of experience, working on many award-winning films in Sudan and beyond. Ibrahim's work spans various genres, including music videos, documentaries, commercials, and short films. Some of his notable credits as a cinematographer include the feature documentary "Khartoum Offside," which won Best Documentary at the Cartage Film Festival, "From Argentina To Sudan," "Sudan: When Poems Fall Apart," the short film "Serotonin," which received the Black Elephant Award at the Sudan Independent Film Festival, "The Salon," and "Journey To Kenya," which won over 5 international awards, including Best Short at the Jerusalem International Film Festival. His most recent project, "Khartoum," is a feature documentary that delves into the lives of 5 individuals during the 2023 war in Sudan. Ibrahim's multicultural background has shaped his storytelling, allowing him to bring unique narratives and diverse perspectives to his work that many people globally can resonate with.
