Hemingway made her first film in 1976 at the age of 16 with the Nunsploitation drama Love Letters of a Portuguese Nun, directed by Jess Franco. This was followed up in 1983 seven more films directed by Jess Franco, including the two hardcore productions They Do Everything and Burning Up Inside.
